Terms & Conditions – B’Loonies Ltd
Booking & Payment
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required via bank transfer to confirm and secure your booking.
The remaining balance must be paid 24 hours before the event date or collection time.
Failure to pay the remaining balance by the due date may result in the booking being cancelled.
Bookings are not confirmed until the deposit has been received.
Design & Client Responsibilities
To ensure your display is created to your expectations, the client must clearly outline the desired design at the time of booking. This includes colour choices, theme, wording, sizing, positioning and any inspiration images.
Inspiration images are used as guidance only. The final design may vary depending on balloon availability, sizing, venue conditions and practical installation requirements.
By confirming your booking, you agree that the final design may differ slightly from inspiration images.
Adjustments & Revisions
One small adjustment is included within the quoted price.
A small adjustment is defined as a minor change that does not alter the overall design or require a rebuild, such as moving a small element or swapping a balloon colour within the existing structure.
If adjustments have already been made and further changes are requested, these will be classed as a redesign and may incur additional charges.
Redesign costs will be discussed and agreed before any further work is carried out.
If the client chooses not to proceed with the redesign cost, the original agreed design will remain in place.
Working With Third-Party Props
B’Loonies Ltd designs displays based on the size, structure and positioning of our own equipment.
For this reason we do not usually style balloon displays directly onto third-party props unless agreed in advance.
This ensures displays are secure, balanced and finished to the professional standard we aim to provide.
Balloon Care & Liability
Avoid sudden temperature changes, as this can cause balloons to oxidise, lose their shine, deflate or pop.
Once the balloons have left B’Loonies Ltd, they become the sole responsibility of the customer.
B’Loonies Ltd cannot be held responsible for damage caused after delivery or setup, including environmental factors, weather conditions or handling by third parties.
Balloon displays are temporary decorative items and longevity cannot be guaranteed.
Outdoor Installations
Outdoor displays are installed at the client’s risk.
Weather conditions such as heat, wind, rain and direct sunlight can affect balloons and may cause deflation, movement or damage.
B’Loonies Ltd cannot guarantee the longevity of outdoor displays.
Safety
Please ensure small children and babies are not left unattended around balloons.
Our balloons are made from natural rubber latex. Please notify us in advance if any allergies are present.
Broken balloons and small pieces can present a choking hazard and should be disposed of immediately.
Transport & Collection
For customer collections, please ensure the vehicle is free from sharp objects, dirt and dust.
Displays must be transported carefully with adequate space.
B’Loonies Ltd are not obligated to refund or remake displays damaged during customer transport.
Delivery
Free delivery is provided within Stevenage.
Surrounding areas are charged at £0.50 per mile.
Delivery fees will be confirmed at the time of booking.
Setup & Access
The client must ensure that the venue allows sufficient setup time and access for installation.
Parking must be available close to the setup location.
Any delays caused by restricted access, venue restrictions or waiting times may incur additional charges.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
The 50% deposit is non-refundable.
If a booking is cancelled within 72 hours of the event, the full remaining balance may still be payable due to materials and preparation already completed.
If you need to reschedule your event, we will do our best to accommodate the new date depending on availability.
Rescheduled bookings must be requested at least 72 hours before the event date.
Damage to Hire Equipment
Any hired equipment, props, stands, backdrops or frames remain the property of B’Loonies Ltd at all times.
The client is responsible for any damage, loss or theft of hired items while in their care.
Charges may apply to repair or replace damaged equipment.
Venue & Third-Party Interference
Once a display has been installed, B’Loonies Ltd cannot be held responsible for any damage, movement or alteration caused by guests, venue staff, third-party suppliers or members of the public.
If a display is moved, adjusted or tampered with after installation, B’Loonies Ltd cannot guarantee the safety, appearance or longevity of the installation.
If a display requires repair or repositioning due to third-party interference, additional charges may apply.
Circumstances Outside Our Control
B’Loonies Ltd cannot be held responsible for failure or delay in providing services due to circumstances beyond our control. This may include but is not limited to severe weather, venue restrictions, road closures, accidents, illness or other unforeseen events.
In such circumstances we will make every reasonable effort to reschedule the booking or provide an alternative solution where possible.
Agreement
By proceeding with a booking and paying the deposit, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
B’Loonies Ltd provides luxury balloon styling, event backdrops and personalised balloon displays across Hertfordshire and surrounding areas.
